“Like Peas in a Pod….Thank you one and all!”

As the year comes to an end and we look forward to planning and getting back into our gardens in spring, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the past year.

I first want to thank all our loyal customers for another great year here at American Meadows. We expanded our product offerings yet again with the addition of more perennial varieties, vegetable seeds and bulk herb seeds, and we expanded our organic offerings, too. We’re always interested in your product ideas and suggestions.

And after 8 months of planning and hard work, we’re excited to announce the launch of our new website. It incorporates a lot of new features to better your shopping — and overall — experience here at American Meadows. It’s loaded with features such as faster navigation, better search features and a plethora of gardening information. Please let us know what you think.

I also want to thank our loyal staff; everyone works very hard to give our customers the best possible experience. Whether you’re navigating our site or talking with one of our customer service reps, we want to ensure you’re receiving the best possible service no matter how you chose to engage with us. We know you have choices when it comes to shopping for plants and we really appreciate your business!

I also wanted to recognize one of our long standing customers as she steps down to enjoy the fruits of retirement and antiquing! We’ve been working with Anna Shahan and Operation Wildflower in West Virginia since she started the program back in 1990. She’s been the driving force behind the program which now sees upwards of 250 acres across the state of WV sown with wildflowers each spring. We’re sad to see her go and wish her all the best in her future endeavors!

And last but not certainly not least, we were blessed this year to welcome the newest members of the American Meadows family. Adia Jane Platt and Sadie Anne Lizotte arrived like two peas in a pod, bursting with energy and excitement.

Thanks again for your continued support and wishing great things for you and your garden in 2011!
Sincerely,
Mike “The Seed Man” Lizotte
