Hummingbirds are on their way back. It’s time to get ready for them. This is my 5th year photographing hummingbirds. Planning my hummingbird area is always a time for me to get creative. Not only do I have to think like a hummingbird but I also need to think like a photographer.

Shrubs are an amazingly-simple way to add big, bold statements in the garden with little work. They are large in size, many provide year-long interest in the garden and delight with stunning blooms. Whether you have sun, shade, dry soil or not – There is certainly a place in your garden for a shrub!
